If you want to hike in the Pyranees and want to make sure you have all the logisitcs covered and a guranteed viable route, don't hesitate to book with La Alta Ruta. The piece of mind to have everything arranged and the trip supported is easily worth the modest premium charged. The organisation and the service we received from start to finish was excellent. When we arrived to start the 8 day trip the manager advised us to reverse the direction due to the unseasonal heavy rains the week before which had meant one of the routes was blocked temporarily. Just this support in itself - to call and rebook all the accommodation - was a huge help. It would have been a massive headache for us to do at last minute, considering that each refuge has to be called or emailed directly. The route itself was amazing too. The ecology and the scenery was really diverse. Also, the GPX files provided were also pretty invaluable in some instances where trails were less well marked, and it was great knowing we had that backup when we weren't totally convinced of our map reading skills. And the final thing to note, is that nearly every leg of the journey had plan B options, in case the weather wasn't ideal or you fancied a less challenging route. We used one of these backup alternative routes on a very rainy day and it saved us a tough traverse in wet and low visibility conditions. Altogether a fantastic trip, made all the better with a fantastic service. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Una ruta ESPECTACULAR! Dura y exigente pero alcanzable. Éramos una familia con niños de 11 y 14 años y hemos podido realizar toda la ruta sin problemas. Nuestras jornadas fueron más largas que lo previsto para el público "general", pero ya contábamos con ello. Llevo varios trekking y este puede ser sin duda el mejor, es duro si no estás en forma, pero la brecha, Tucarroya.... Los refugios..... Son sitios que enamoran, una pasada de rutas y bien organizado, controlado en  todo momento. GRACIAS

Tour del Vignemales. We did the tour at the beginning of august 2024. Beatifull landscapes, we enjoied the fine mountain enviroments and beatifull locations of the refugios. Alta Ruta organization was exellent. We met, Rafa, a team member the day before our start, and we was very informative and professional. He gave us usefull tips to finish the route.
